Manifesting New Beginnings: Reflections on Intuition, Purpose, and Transformation

November 6th, 2024 So here I am sitting in Daniel’s new house here in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. I am one week away from leaving to Cusco, Peru. This is (once again) the beginning of a new transformation, a new chapter. My time traveling for about two months has been incredibly invaluable. In this time I have taught at a yoga retreat in Mexico for three weeks, then I came to Costa Rica knowing that it was a time to help support my brother Daniel simply by showing up authentically. This time is now coming to a close as I step out into the world, once again a solo traveler. I can’t say enough about the tremendous growth I have witnessed as Daniel has re-adopted the practices. He has tuned back into source. He was entirely lost when we first reunited after 4 ½ years. Reconnecting with the practices, listening to his intuitive insights and acting on them, understanding that his mental patterns were running his life, this is where we began. Coming to and then quickly moving to Santa Teresa, he was really able to tap into his ability to manifest his desires. This has truly shown me the infinite possibilities can be acquired when wishes are made from the heart. This has all been in preparation for my solo traveling to Peru. I truly have the opportunity to show up exactly as I want to in this next chapter. So what does that look like? I am a being of light and love, a spiritual warrior whose purpose is to help my brothers and sisters to experience their own divine light and transformation. I have many tools in my bag which are accessible at all times. From teaching yoga asana, pranayama, sound healing, energy healing, various forms of yoga, meditation, qi gong, and visualization exercises, I have all the tools I need to reach those who are ready to search. Fear has no place in my heart for I have experienced divine love and universal oneness on so many levels. Sometimes events happen which are perceived as bad or good, knowing that these perceptions are just that. Events happen for us in our lives. Things can be perceived as good or bad but it’s our reaction to these events that defines us through understanding, compassion, contentment, and a knowing that things are happening for us allows us to detach from a victim mentality. So who do I want to show up as? I am a man of humble power, living from a heart-centered space. I am kind, courageous, passionate, creative, inspired, playful, strong, dependable, generous, and present. All abundance and all gifts I receive are meant to be shared for the growth of humanity. I choose surrender. I choose light and love. I choose to see challenges as opportunities. I am so incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I have, for my life has been filled with good fortune and seemingly endless possibilities. Our bodies are designed for energy transformation. Our bioelectric fields receive and transmit energy at all times. We have abilities and senses beyond the five senses of this physical world. By tuning into the present moment in nature, we can hear and feel and see in ways we never imagined before. (Check out more on this topic here) My heart swells with gratitude at being right here, right now. Infinite abundance surrounds me and I’m so excited to be taking part in this beautiful orchestration of the universe. Let’s dream big! Let’s follow John Lennon’s advice and imagine. Let’s begin to follow our hearts and allow our minds to be the tools that they were meant to be, no longer the driver. Let’s allow for this natural transformation.

Harmony Within: A Guide to Energy Cleansing in Your Body

Introduction: Welcome to a journey of self-discovery and inner balance. In this blog, we delve into the concept of energy cleansing, exploring how it can bring harmony to your mind, body, and soul. Section 1: Understanding Energy Cleansing Embark on the path of understanding energy cleansing. Learn about the subtle energies that flow through your body and their impact on your overall well-being. Have you ever been in a place and all of a sudden you feel something odd or heavy? You look at the entrance and sure enough, someone just walked in clearly upset or angry. Their energy can be sensed and it’s even palpable. Feeling the energies around us is a natural skill we are all born with, like the sense of taste or smell, only it needs to be developed to experience intentionally. Our physical bodies are manifestations of the energy blueprints that surround each of us. It’s referred to as your aura and it consists or is built from your experiences and emotions. When you drop a glass, your initial reaction is a gasp or holding your breath. The spontaneous feeling of distress, fear, worry, and/or anxiety you experience becomes embedded in this energetic blueprint. While this is a small and seemingly irrelevant example, other more consequential examples might be physical or psychological traumas we have experienced, going all the way back to a potentially traumatic birth. From a dropped glass to a life-saving cessarian section and everything in between, our energetic blueprints are comprised of all our experiences, including our joyous and celebratory times. Only as we all know, sometimes the “bad” outweigh the “good” ones. Or potentially, one really traumatic experience could irrevocably alter our everyday experiences. It may have been so disastrous that your mind might have even blocked out having it so you don’t have to recall such trauma. These energies become blockages and keep us trapped in recurring behaviors and thought patterns. Do you know anyone who keeps dating the same kind of person even though it always leads to disaster? Another friend might keep making the same mistakes over and over, even though they know that route leads to pain. These are energy blockages which can be removed or healed. Section 2: Signs of Blocked Energy Discover the signals your body gives when energy is stagnant or blocked. Recognizing these signs is the first step towards rejuvenation. Some signs of energy blockages: Chronic Fatigue: Feeling persistently tired or lacking energy despite adequate rest. Emotional Imbalances: Sudden mood swings, heightened emotional sensitivity, or unexplained emotional distress. Insomnia or Sleep Issues: Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or experiencing restful sleep. Relationship Strain: Difficulty forming or maintaining healthy relationships, frequent conflicts, or feelings of isolation. Repetitive Patterns: Encountering recurrent negative patterns or obstacles in various aspects of life. While this list not comprehensive, it’s by no means understated that with the way we are living, it doesn’t take a medical degree to know that something is unbalanced in our lives. Energy cleansing deals directly with stuck or stagnant energies to transform how we are living, day-to-day and moment by moment. Section 3: Techniques for Energy Cleansing Explore various techniques to cleanse and balance your energy. From meditation to crystal healing, find a practice that resonates with you. There are many practices one can do on their own to begin the process of energy cleansing. Practices like yoga, meditation, and even simply talking about what’s bothering you can bring growth and inner peace. We also need to recognize when we need help. The pharmaceutical companies would love to offer you a slew of drug remedies with long lists of side effects (and even more drugs to counteract those side effects.) While certainly taking prescriptions has its place for getting the help we need, for many cases the help we need can come from more holistic approaches. Sound Healing utilizes vibrational resonance to bring the physical body and energies into alignment, from the micro (quantum, atomic & cellular levels) to the macro (organs, glands, bodily fluids. Learn more about Sound Healing, how it works and the modalities I use, check out my blog section here and also my page here. Reiki and Pranic Healing work directly with the energies of the universe to call in healing, cleansing and alignment. Head on over to my Energy Healing page to learn more about these modalities. Crystals carry unique vibrations whose geometric patterns hold the ability to realign ourselves through intention. Herbs also work in the same way to clear negative energies and many cultures around the world utilize them for various purposes and effects. Section 4: Meditation for Energy Cleansing Immerse yourself in a guided meditation session designed to cleanse and align your energy centers. Relax, breathe, and let go of any tension. One of the most profound ways we can heal ourselves is by quieting the mind so we can tune into higher frequencies and receive guidance from the Universe. This is the power of meditation. Learn more about meditation, how it works, & how to do it yourself in my meditation blogs. Section 5: Yoga for Energy Flow Incorporate yoga into your routine to enhance the flow of energy in your body. Follow along with expert-guided poses tailored for energy balance. Learn more about Chakra Yoga in this blog. Section 7: Daily Practices for Maintenance Integrate simple daily practices into your life to maintain a harmonious energy balance. Small, consistent efforts can lead to profound changes. Conclusion: Embracing Harmony As you embark on this journey of energy cleansing, remember that it’s a continual process. Embrace the harmony within and allow it to radiate in all aspects of your life. Join the Community Connect with like-minded individuals on our community forum. The Art of Breathing

Breathe In, Breathe Out: Mastering the Art of Proper Breathing (aka Pranayama)

In the hustle and bustle of modern life, one often overlooks the simple yet profound act of breathing. Proper breathing techniques not only play a crucial role in sustaining life but can also have a profound impact on our overall well-being. There are a wide range of benefits to utilizing our entire breathing system. Tremendous health benefits take root in even one session alone. Other benefits include balancing and cleansing energy channels, psychological tranquility, & spiritual awakening. In this article, we will delve into the art and science of breathing, exploring various techniques that can enhance your physical and mental health. These teachings come directly from David Goulet at Pyramid Yoga Center in Koh Phangan, Thailand. This information comes from his course The Art of Breathing. Watch my 20 minute YouTube video to begin to experience these benefits for yourself: *Breathing techniques should be performed under the supervision of a qualified instructor to ensure they are being done safely and effectively. If you’re new to breath work, please be gentle and not forceful with the practices in any way. If you would like to do a session in person or online, please contact me here.* There are also a series of relevent asanas (movements) which greatly enhance breathing practices and open up related muscles and airways which are not listed here. Send me a message if you would like to have a private class. Pranayama Means Energy Control Pranayama is an ancient practice rooted in the yogic traditions of India, encompassing a range of breathing exercises designed to manipulate the flow of prana, or life force energy, within the body. The term “pranayama” is derived from two Sanskrit words: “prana,” meaning life force or vital energy, and “yama,” meaning control or expansion. This practice goes beyond the simple act of breathing for sustenance and explores the profound connection between breath, mind, and body. Pranayama techniques involve conscious regulation of the breath through various patterns of inhalation, exhalation, and retention, aiming to balance and enhance the flow of prana throughout the energy channels, or nadis, in the body. With the oxygen we absorb through our breath comes prana, the vital energy which both nourishes the nervous system and replenishes the essential forces that power the body. Though this concept has been understood for thousands of years in the East, it is only in the latter part of the 20th century that scientists have realized there are extra electrons attached to some of the molecules of the air we breathe (making them ionized). These are, in fact, the little electrical charges that add up to make our vital force: prana. We absorb this force with every breath we take. In a world where the average person is only breathing with one-tenth of their lung capacity, we do not get enough of this important energy, nor do we obtain enough oxygen. This we change with yoga. Why You Should Breathe Through the Nose: Because of the prana absorption (prana or chi, the vital life force, electromagnetic energy) which is taken in through the olfactory sense of smell – an energy that is taken directly in to the brain to empower the nervous system. Prana is in essence the energy of detachable electrons spinning around the proton of atoms. It is abundant as extra electrons found in the natural air of jungles, by the ocean, near waterfalls etc. as the movement of molecules creates the releasing of these energy “particles”. Prana or chi is basically the same power that we create in electricity through the flowing of electrons in copper wire. In humans it makes us feel positive, happy, and optimistic, creating a sense of ‘well-being’. As prana goes directly into brain, air goes to the lungs, oxygen is absorbed into the blood and taken everywhere throughout the body and it’s 50 trillion cells. The massaging effect from the movement of the diaphragm also stimulates better circulation to the legs and back. All of the internal movement also helps the cells to release CO2 from cells and interstitial fluid where it tends to accumulate and create acidic toxicity. Mindful Breathing: The Power of Presence Incorporating mindfulness into your breathing routine can amplify its benefits. By focusing your attention on each breath, you cultivate a heightened sense of awareness. Mindful breathing not only reduces stress but also improves concentration and cognitive function. In essence, our minds are very good at distracting us and keeping us “entertained,” especially when we are working. Yes, proper breathing is a type of work which requires effort. Simply notice when your thoughts drift to another place and gently, yet persistantly, bring them back to the FEELING of taking each breath. Learn to enjoy riding the waves of energy in and out. Take control of your mind and cease allowing your mind to control you. “You are creating an experience and then feeling that experience as much as possible” – David Goulet (Pyramid Yoga Center) The Foundation: Diaphragmatic (Belly) Breathing Proper breathing begins with the diaphragm, a dome-shaped muscle beneath the lungs. Diaphragmatic breathing, also known as belly breathing, involves inhaling deeply through the nose, allowing the diaphragm to expand, and exhaling fully through the nose. This technique ensures efficient oxygen exchange and promotes a sense of calm. The Benefits of Proper Belly Breathing (ADHAM PRANAYAMA) The pressure and release on abdominal organs is a gentle internal massage that stimulates better circulation of body fluids in all digestive, sexual and eliminative organs such as: stomach, pancreas, liver, gall bladder, spleen, intestines, colon, uterus, prostate, kidneys, adrenals etc. These body fluids, mostly blood and lymph have a higher (enriched) level of oxygen because of the deeper breathing in the lower lobes of the lungs, creating a rejuvenating and healing effect in the trillions of cells in all of the above glands and organs. In essence this is our life support system. In this form of breathing the air is channeled into the inferior or lower lobes of the lungs, causing the

Mandala for Meditation

Meditation: Activate & Empower Your 3rd Eye Chakra in 10 Minutes

Guruji has been teaching me a series of exercises which stimulate each individual chakra. Today focusing on the 6th chakra, Ajna and the visualizations which go with 3rd eye chakra. Ajna chakra is located at the center of your forehead. By empowering our 3rd eye, you will be able to “see” more, not only on the inside but also energetically. This is a 3rd eye meditation for visualization empowerment. When practiced diligently can lead to tremendous growth! How to Begin: Begin as we do with all meditations by sitting in a comfortable position. Try to lean forward a little bit to move the meat from your sit bones. Sit with your spine straight and tall as if there’s a string pulling the top of your head up. Take a few deep breaths and welcome yourself to this space. Feel yourself breathing and notice any sensations that arise. This is mindfulness in practice. Give yourself permission to be fully present with the experience. You made it here after all so you might as well explore what happens. Try to avoid telling yourself stories which aren’t relevant to the moment. Notice when your mind is just chatting with you & stealing your concentration. Where your mind goes, your energy flows. Bring In Your Focus: Now, the premise is quite simple; visualize a bright white light beaming down from the universe into the top of your head and down your spinal energy column (this is called Shushumna.) This isn’t just white light, but a combination of all the colors which blend together to make white. It’s kind of like a diamond white light with the hues of all the colors imbedded in it. You can see this when you look closely at a diamond or a prism when sun shines through it. Imagination is key for stimulating the 3rd eye chakra. Next imagine and connect with this bright white light, see it and feel it beaming into you through the top of your head. The practice is to then work through each chakra, imagining the supplementary color extracting according to each chakra. For example, we begin at the root chakra aka Muladhara, the deep red color of the Earth element. Once you tune into the red color coming from the beam of white light, focus your vision on a plain white mandala (print one off in advance or find one online) and imagine/fill all the white spaces with the red color you envisioned. Do this exercise for the remaining colors in this sequence: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, & Violet. Tips for Success: Simply allow the color process to unfold. If it’s difficult, don’t be hard on yourself but do keep trying. As a helpful tool, keep the colors of the chakras close by as a reference to focus on before doing the white light meditation for visualization. When you feel like you’ve finished each chakra and the color visualization, return to the beam of diamond white light. Imagine it beaming into the crown of your head and connect to this meditation for visualization. Don’t rush the experience, but surrender to it. Remember, don’t TRY to do this exercise, just set your intention and allow it to unfold by staying present. Feel free to leave a comment below on your experiences! If you found this experience difficult to tune in to, try doing some deep breathing exercises first. You can check out my 20 minute intro to breathing video below: . My Experience:                Focusing on this intense bright white beaming down into me is actually quite easy as I’ve seen this naturally in various meditations I’ve done in the past. Thankfully I already have the felt sense of this experience which makes it easy to draw on anytime. Initially I had a hard time seeing any colors on the white mandala but just relaxing and trying again is the key. At the start all I saw was white and it was tricky to sense the red filling in the white spaces. Intuitively, I imagined a way to help this 3rd eye chakra Meditation along. As I was looking and relaxing into the process, I imagined sending this mandala to my laptop. Then I imagined opening “Paint” and using the fill tool to fill the spaces so I could see the finished product. Then quite naturally I could “see” the fill tool and I “clicked” on each space in my mind’s eye. After “clicking” red into 4 or 5 spaces, the rest of the white spaces naturally filled themselves in and I was imagining the white mandala as red.                Excellent, now refocus on the white beam coming in by relaxing and surrendering into the white bright energy. There’s actually a lot of sensation that comes with this visualization by itself. There’s a “pulling up” feeling as I’m filled with white rainbow light coming in. Naturally I’m being pulled up from my tailbone which is planted firmly in the Earth. Next I imagined the orange color extracted from the white beam. Once again, “clicking” into each white space with my mind’s eye. Almost naturally, the whole image colors itself. If you have enjoyed this experience, check out some other meditations here. Feel free to share your experience below!

The Higher Self, the energetic reality of the Beings of Light & Love who we truly are

Realizing Your Soul’s Purpose

How are you possibly supposed to know what you’re here on this Earth for? Where do you begin to search for such insights? Realizing your Soul’s Purpose is no small matter. One could argue that the search for the answer is more important than the realization itself. In fact it’s quite possible one may never truly decipher this meaning. If you’ll indulge me in hearing my story, perhaps you may learn something as to how you may come to find out as I have. My Name is Atmaram – Soul Bliss My name is Atmaram. I was named Bruce when I was born but when you’re fully committed to your own personal growth through your spiritual connection, your teacher (or Guru) anoints you with your spiritual name. This new name fits who you’ve become as was the case with me in India in September of 2023. Leaving behind your old name is also a representation of leaving behind your old self. One also leaves behind the thought patterns which are keeping you stuck in circular ways which no longer serve you. Ātman is a Sanskrit word for the true or eternal Self or the self-existent essence of each individual (the Soul), which persists across multiple bodies and lifetimes. In Hinduism, Lord Rama is the seventh and one of the most popular avatars of Vishnu. In Rama-centric traditions of Hinduism, he is considered the Supreme Being. My name means “Soul Bliss” and it’s my Soul’s Purpose to embody this meaning and to share it with all who are ready to embrace their own Spiritual Path. Meeting My Guru My Guru’s name is Anan Guruji and we met quite “randomly” my 2nd day in Rishikesh, India and I knew right away that I had met my teacher. Over the next 6 weeks Guruji graciously taught me to embrace love, joy, and bliss through surrender to the Divine Intelligence. Some may refer to this intelligence as God (a term I had difficulty using until I felt what that word actually means.) The tools that he uses to highlight this inner Divine connection are meditation, asana yoga, mantras, pranayama (breath work), & energy healing. In general, he simply emphasizes cultivating a sense of conscious awareness. In essence, this means continuous present-moment awareness without allowing the thinking mind to “run the show.” We are so very accustomed to this type of living in the Western world. Guru means bringer of light or destroyer of darkness. With all my love and gratitude, I thank Guruji for illuminating my true path in the culmination of all my studies for the previous two years. Of course this is not where my journey of inner awakening began. My time with Guruji has simply been the combination and zenith of everything I had learned so far on my path. Stepping Onto My Path Fully stepping onto this journey began in March of 2018 when I received the insight from my Soul as I was falling asleep to “Move to Europe on Your Motorcycle.” When our minds are clear and we’re not busy thinking, the Soul has room to speak with us directly. Actually we have all received these kinds of downloads before. Unfortunately the mind is very quick to talk us out of our realizing our Soul’s Purpose. It tells us all kinds of excuses like “maybe next year” or “that’s too crazy”, “I could never do that”, or a million other excuses to keep us safe in our bubble. I knew in my heart that this was the correct path, that I needed to let go of my blossoming $60,000/year career as an event DJ to discover what I knew was actually true and genuine. This profession had been growing for over 10 years. I also had to relinquish several relationships with some friends and my girlfriend at the time. Without truly knowing why, I could sense I was on the path of discovering my Soul’s Purpose by making these choices. At the time, nothing was actually “wrong”, in fact quite the opposite. I was very comfortable where I was living; I had lots of friends, more and more DJ opportunities as my reputation grew, and I was happy and thoroughly enjoying my lifestyle. Yet I knew deep inside that there was something more, a calling to be greater and to imagine my life in ways I had never even considered before. People Will Call You Crazy Some people told me I was crazy but others who know me best knew that this was coming. So I set off on my motorcycle (aptly named Lady Danger as my DJ name was Bruce Danger) with a suitcase strapped to the back, a tent & sleeping bag, and a sense of immense curiosity and excitement for whatever comes next. On June 4th, 2018 I set off across the US and Canada for a few weeks headed East, following my intuition to turn left here or right there. Each moment I would decide to talk to this person or simply to sit and observe when I found myself amongst others.  I was allowing my intuition to emerge and grow by not listening to my head, but by following my heart and feeling into each decision, one at a time.  When there’s nothing but time on open roads, surrounded by natural beauty, you spend a lot of time in your head. You find yourself spinning your wheels on things not said or what you “should have/could have” done. The exception is when the beauty is simply too captivating to ignore and you lose yourself in the moment. A fiery sunset, a humble campfire, and the sound of an approaching rainstorm all very quickly set us into this kind of experience. This is where time loses its constant hold on us and we merge with the glorious beauty we find ourselves enthralled by. This is where meditation takes us and this was also my first real series of experiences with present moment awareness. Present
